SINKHOLE HOME MEETS THE WRECKING BALL

Four months after lurching into a sinkhole with a terrifying clamour in the middle of the night, a Hants County house has been demolished. Heather Strickey stood outside her home yesterday as an excavator ripped apart the home she'd moved her family into more than a decade ago. After the collapse, Strickey and her family stayed with friends until they recently rented a home in nearby Windsor. They're still waiting for their insurance provider to make a decision on whether the collapse will be covered. Strickey says it's a very complicated, difficult situation. Despite that, Strickey says she's staying optimistic and trying to move on.
