Disappointment in the lack of a Christmas concert at Thorburn Consolidated school is prompting a “hands-off” approach from the school board. Board Development Supervisor Chris Boulter says if school administrators decide not to host a concert, no matter which school is affected, the board itself can't get involved. Boulter says any school that can't muster enough teachers and volunteers for a Christmas concert is within its rights to cancel the event.
