NEW MARIJUANA STRATEGY RELEASED TODAY *UPDATED 11:25 AM*

Thursday 7th December 2017 7:07 am

The province is spelling out the rules for legalized pot next year. Justice Minister and Attorney-General Mark Furey says the N-S-L-C will be in charge of distributing marijuana when the rules change on July first. Fury says Nova Scotians will allowed to possess up to 30 grams of cannabis, and if you're growing 4 pot plants at home, that will be legal. The legal age for pot possession will be 19. There will also be online sales through the NSLC, with straight-to-your-door delivery. Fury wouldn't say during today's news conference how much cannabis will cost under the new regime.
