East Coast FM's newest addition is happy to be the co-host of WAKE UP on East Coast FM weekdays with Ann MacGregor. Gene Mills grew up in Pictou County and graduated from New Glasgow High School after attending elementary schools in the county. Gene attended the University of King's College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation Gene spent 2 years in Ottawa but the call of Melmerby Beach and salt water brought him back to New Glasgow where he currently resides. Gene has the uncanny ability to retain "Trivia you'd never need to know, but can't live without". A self confessed computer hacker, Gene loves taking things apart and occasionally putting them back together with only a few screws left over! In his spare time, Gene can usually be found with a laptop or any device that connects him to the Internet, watching tv, spending time with his family and cats. Gene enjoys collecting Coca Cola memorabilia - his dream is to have a vending machine.
