Joanne with husband Bob and son Stephen moved from St. Catharines, Ontario in 1971 going to France for a year with Michelin then settled in New Glasgow in 1972. Christmas of 1973 Joanne and Bob with children Kristen and Stephen moved to Little Harbour area where Joanne and Bob still live and son Stephen is a team manager with IBM in Toronto. Joanne joined CKEC Radio in the Traffic Department in August of 1984 then transferred to Sales as Sales Co-ordinator in May of 1986. Besides working at CKEC she is very involved with the Ladies Aid of the Little Harbour Presbyterian Church, The Ladies Auxiliary of the Little Harbour Fire Department and the Little Harbour Community Centre.
