With the annual Dragon Boat races this weekend, there will be street closures in New Glasgow.
Starting Friday night at 6pm, traffic will be reduced to one lane-east bound on the George Street Bridge, and will include the closure of Riverside Parkway from George to MacLean Streets until Saturday evening at 6.
Dalhousie Street from Provost Street to Riverside Parkway will also be closed to traffic during those same hours.
Access to the Riverfront Marina is available southbound, both Friday and Saturday on a small portion of Riverside Parkway from the George Street Bridge.
The Glasgow Square parking lot will be closed as of Friday morning at 6am for site set up and race preparations.
